Problem creating domain / Can't reconfig DNS server
 

Hi Folks,

I've got an issue I'm hoping is easy to solve and someone can help me...

I'm quite new to ISP manager but seems easy enough to use. I've successfully created 3 domains and have them all online. However I recently tried to create a new domain in ISP Manager. I followed the steps I had done for the previous 3 domains but I ended up getting the error message:

"Can't reconfig DNS server. Make sure DNS service started and right configured."

I'm a bit confused considering all is well with my other domains. I don't really know how to action this message so I'm wondering if anyone can help?

I've pinged my site and the A dns entries point to the correct named servers so it all seems to be setup correctly.

Any help would be much appreciated...

You need to check DNS-server on your system. Check it out on the Services menu. DNS-server should be run, should work in the ssh command 'rndc status'.
