ISPManager bug?
Hi!
We installed to a new Debian Lenny 5.0.3 64-bit edition and the latest ISPManager with recommended options. We begining the first configuration steps in the admin panel. In the "server configuration"/"features" menu installed postgrey. The postgrey bulb changed to yellow color and the postgrey is installed and running (but don't working at this time, more info: http://forum.ispsystem.com/en/showthread.php?t=896). Because de postgrey not working, we viewed into the /usr/local/ispmgr/etc/ispmgr.conf file. The content of this file was interesting. This was a part of this file: Service "DNS" { Process named Start /etc/init.d/bind9 start Stop /etc/init.d/bind9 stop ConfName bind9 Type dns Monitored NO } Service "Nginx" { Process nginx Start /etc/init.d/nginx start Stop /etc/init.d/nginx stop ConfName nginx Type process Monitored NO } Service "PostgreSQL" { Process postmaster Start /etc/init.d/postgresql-8.3 start Stop /etc/init.d/postgresql-8.3 stop ConfName postgresql-8.3 Type pgsql Monitored NO Ip /var/ruService "Postgrey" { Process postgrey Start /etc/init.d/postgrey start Stop /etc/init.d/postgrey stop ConfName postgrey Type process Monitored NO } Service "Postgrey" { Process postgrey Start /etc/init.d/postgrey start Stop /etc/init.d/postgrey stop ConfName postgrey Type process Monitored NO } n/postgresql }ApacheUid 33 ApacheGid 33 path exim-passwd /etc/exim4/passwd We edited this file manually and after the problem is not returned. I thing this is a bug. Again this was the steps: - Install the Debian Lenny 5.0.3 64-bit OS (to the HP Proliant ML350 G3 server) - Apt-get update&apt-get upgrade - We downloading and running the install.sh script. - We choose the recommended options during the install (I don't remember exactly, maybe the third option from the four). We do not settings anything else. We don't become any question. The installation finished without any errors. - We logged in the admin panel and after a few general settings we installed the postgrey from the "Features" menu. - After this steps find this abnormally problem in the ispmgr.conf file. I think the problem was the new postgrey section is not pasted to the correct position. I hope this post help a little for the software developers. |
