Custom Operations Parameters issue with wwwdomain.edit

I have written a perl script to write a config file when a domain gets created.
In this script I use params:
owner
domain
alias

I use owner to build the docroot path because docroot has always the value "auto":
/var/www/$owner/data/www/$domain

My script works fine for new domains. But if I edit an existing domain, owner and docroot are empty

Bug or feature? Workaround?

When domain is created parameter docroot is allowed. But when domain is edited parameter docroot is not allowed because changing this parameter may break up the domain proper work.

Makes sense, but owner is also empty. Without path to doc root i can't overwrite my config on edit

With owner, i can build the path.
