I think this would be a great feature to have, that when the server is provisioned that the system automatically creates a IPMI user on their assigned server that is of the type "operator" so they can easily connect to the IPMI session without us needing to give a customer an administrator account.
I can see that when you select IPMI users under the connections tab that you can easily add/edit/delete users, so I wouldn't it would be very difficult to script this out. |

Hello,
We already have such option. You should add the next line to dcimgr.conf: Option CreateIPMIOperatorOnNewOwner With this option every time when server’s owner (not admin level) is changed, Operator user will be created and access data will be added into user notes for this server. |
