Default Default user addition settings

ISPManager doesn't seem to use useradd to add new users to the system. Is there a viable way of editing the new users' default settings, like user groups etc?

There doesn't seem to be any settings for it in either the control panel or the config files.

You can't manage user groups via ISPmanager.

Yes, but what I am asking about are the default settings.. like currently, when you create a new user, it will be in a group with a same name as his username is. Any way to change that? If not, it would be a good feature addition so they do not need to be changed manually each time a user has been added.

Why do you need to change it? Default settings are optimial and secure for users of webhosting server.

SFTP chroot uses usergroups to define which users are treated in a specific way.

By default you can't change it, but you can write script for Events (see documentation)

When you add a user through ISPmanager it will automatically run a script on this event, which will using the pw command to modify user group (for example).
