Yes, this is no problem from one ISPmanger Server to other.

But i´ve the files backuped with the old ispmanager server to a FTP-Storage
the old server is offline, and now i've to restore the files from the ftp storage back to the new ispmanager server.

thx.

You can restore this backups as "user restore" in Import user (choose "from file", not from remote server with ISPmanager) and also you can extract files from archives and restore manually.

with this feature i can choose wich user i want to restore, that means it is only possible to restore the user is created in the system already. I have to create all the user manual first, and bevore this i have to copy each backup from each user manually from the FTP-Backup server to the ISPmanager Server?!

that takes several hours of manual work

it would be better there is a file e.g. "backup.infoxml" in this file stored every information. than i've to import this "info-file" and can restore all users automaticaly from the FTP-Backup server - RIGHT?

i hope it will improved, because to restore a full backup after a system crash is an important function for a proffessional-web-hosting-Control-Panel

Yes, now all information about users and backup files is stored only locally in /usr/local/ispmgr/var/.backup/
Developers have the task number 324 to save this information to a remote server.
