still problem with rsync and ISPmanager
Hello,
I still have trouble with crons on my Centos 5.5 wiith ISPManager 4.3.48. Crons still doesn't work. I tried to run it through ssh and it works fine exactly with the same command I have in crons in ISPManager. But when running from crons with ISPManager I get the followings: rsync: Failed to exec ssh: No such file or directory (2) rsync error: error in IPC code (code 14) at pipe.c(83) [sender=2.6.8] rsync: writefd_unbuffered failed to write 4 bytes [sender]: Broken pipe (32) rsync error: error in IPC code (code 14) at io.c(1119) [sender=2.6.8] Is it crons problem or ISPManager problem? |

ISPmanager is only web-interface for standart CentOS Linux (and other distros) system, we do not made any changes in base system and you can read and use manuals for "clean" operation system for resolve any "non-ISPmanager" troubles, such as cron, rsync or other software

The problem was actually mis-leading in ISPManager interface in my opinion.
In Sheduler (cron) in ISPManager, clicking "Global cron jon setting" brings up a lightbox with two fields. First field says: E-mail address second field no label. I thought the second field is either for e-mail name or second email address. So I simply typed an address in the second field. I couldn't find the problem so therefore I used SSH to look into the cron jobs file. I found out that ISPManager's first field is using for "mailto" and second field was used for "PATH". There is no label saying that the second field is used for PATH |

I am using ISPmanager-Pro 4.3.48.3 with english localisation.
OS: Linux (x86_64) This is the html part of the box: <td onmouseout="top.mn_hintout()" onmouseover="top.mn_hint("hint_email",ev ent)" class="field-title"><label for="email_checkbox">E-mail address</label> </td> <td> <input gtbfieldid="67" tabindex="1" class="input" value="crons@xxx.com" name="email" type="text"> </td> <td class="field-title"> <label for="path_checkbox"></label> </td> <td><input gtbfieldid="68" tabindex="1" class="input" name="path" type="text"></td> As you can see, label label path_checkbox is empty!! |
