Howto change root directory
When adding a new domain itīs possible to enter the domains root directory path.
How to change these path without deleting the domain? The path field did not appear when clicking on "edit". I can change the document root via config (http-settings), but this is not enough because the Letsencrypt certificate robot uses the root directory field content to create the .well-known directory and not the DocumentRoot which is set in individual http-settings. So I need a possibility to change the root directory for a domain without using the special config and without deleting the domain. Regards, Rob

Root path change
This happens quite often.
When you install a new version of the installed software / cms it makes sense to create a subdomain maybe new.domain.com pointing to the new version directory. After everything is checked the original path domain.com should be changed to the new version of a software. Existing: /var/www/domain.com/cms_v1 = domain.com Now installing: /var/www/domain.com/cms_v2 = new.domain.com Checking CMS and everything is well: Change existing: /var/www/domain.com/cms_v1 to /var/www/domain.com/cms_v2 = domain.com deleting testing domain: new.domain.com (path should not be removed - only as an option - now when deleting a domain the whole data path is removed - quite bad!)
