Vacation email doesn't works
We have:
ISPmanager-Lite 4.4.8.4 When we enable vacation/responder on a user at Ispmanager it creates the file at the user, for example user@domain.com: -r-------- 1 root mail 101 dic 10 18:06 message.txt When somebody send an email to user@domain.com sender recive an error email delivery. If we manualy do: $ chown Debian-exim message.txt now the file is like: -r-------- 1 Debian-exim mail 101 dic 10 18:06 message.txt And vacation/responder works ok. How could it be solved so we don't have to manualy do that "chown" to each vacation/responder email? Thank you. |

If mail format is "Maildir" Ispmanager could solve the problem.
Here is the answer of the Ispmanager support: -- If you use maildir, you should reactivate smtp server. It can be done via ISPmanager-> Applications, select smtp server then click yellow lamp (NOT blu lamp). -- We have tried it and now it works ok, but it has broken (we're still testing it) some other things: 1) We believe that we have lost ALL vacation emails that our clients have setted before that change/update. 2) At least that rebuild/reactivate has change exim config files, so now we are modifing it... and checking what else it could have changed... We'll keep you updated. |

Hello,
this issue (permission on messages.txt) allready fixed in will be pushed to next ISPmanager's release, sorry for inconvenience. If you re-activate email system to maildir format you lost filters, also you should modify dovecot configuration to maildir format. Last edited by slava; 12-12-2012 at 10:30 PM. |
