mod_chroot not installed

It does not look its installed. I do not see in my phpinfo or the apache2.conf file.

cannot get docroot information (/var/www)

Running apache 2 on ubuntu 8.04 with fastcgi, getting this error in my "suexec.log" file for every site.

Any other suggestions Slava? I As I said when I update the file the changes are not reflected in phpinfo.

The only thing in that file is this:
