dovecotpw error

i use ISP Manager version 4.3.58.3

i want to change an email password, aind i get an error like "internal error. dovecotpw error"

before it was OK, this problem is recent ... Maybe it is produced since the last update of ISP Manager, but i'm not sure.

What you see in /usr/local/ispmgr/var/ispmgr.log

for dovecot-2 add
Code:

path dovecotpw doveadm pw
in ispmgr.conf
if you have old (version 0.9 or something else less then 1.0) add
Code:

DovecotPwScheme CLEARTEXT
. Or choose preferred cryptoscheme from output of command dovecotpw -l

I changed "ispmgr.conf" file with your informations, and there is no change : the error when I want to change a email password is the same !

slava 09-02-2011 01:39 PM

Can you write ticket to support team, our developers test this issue.

innopart 09-06-2011 11:01 AM

OK, I will write ticket to support team. But, since yesterday, there was a new update (now the version is ISPmanager-Pro 4.3.58.4) and now I have no more access allowing to manage emails ???!!!

vian 09-06-2011 12:55 PM

Can you give me an access to the server in order I make a try to quickly solve your problem?

I recently came across this when importing. I found that in my case when #$ was used in the password it'd totally fail out the import of the email.

#$hg67We
#$hgy67
#$Sth67

All seem to trigger this error but only on the newer install.

ISPmanager-Pro 4.3.58.7

ctalkington, can you provide with a part of UserMove.log?
