Pseudoname issue
I have a site site.com. Want to add site m.site.com, that should use the same files as site.com. It can be done by adding m.site.com as a pseudoname, but SSL for site.com does not supports sub-domains, so I need to get a new sertificate for m.site.com?
So I can't add m.site.com as a pseudoname because of the ssl issue. And I also can't add it as separate siite because it won't use the home directory of site.com What would be the best solution for me? Except for buying sub-domain supporting ssl, of course. |
Hi RacoonCityHost,
If you want both sites work with SSL certificates you have to have two SSL certificates. One for site.com another for m.site.com. Or you need certificate with subdomains support (wildcard). |
What if I add m.site.com as separate site but will leave the home directory same as for site.copm? Will the two domains lead to the same place then?

Yes, they will. Why do you need create separate site? Maybe you could add "alias" to site.com?
