Wildcard Sub-Domain

Hi,

How would i add a wildcard sub-domain? I need the sub-domain to point direct to a folder within my main domains files.

Example:

mydomain.com > public_html

wildcard.mydomain.com > public_html > afolder

How can i do this?

Thanks,
Jason

Hello,

You can enable auto sub-domains in ISPmanager -> WWW domains -> Edit -> Autosubdomains.

After enabling it don't forget to add alias *.domain.com to the WWW domain.

Then just create folder for subdomains.

Alright thanks, i'll look into it.

I don't understand how it'd know which folder to look in though? In other panels i've had to specify the full path so the wildcard domain knows where the files are stored.

Folders should be created manually.

For example, there is domain one.com.
If autosubdomains in separate directory is enabled for this domain, then needs to create directory for subdomain

/var/www/user/data/www/sub.one.com - for subdomain sub.one.com

If autosubdomains in the domains subdirectory is enabled for this domain, then needs to create directory for subdomain

/var/www/user/data/www/one.com/sub - for subdomain sub.one.com
