wildcard certificate can not be used

I installed a wildcard SSL certificate ( e.g. *.example.com ) in ISPmanager Lite.
Now when I create a domain which is like subdomain.example.com the wildcard certificate is not used.

How can this be fixed?

Which version of ISPmanager do you use?
this feature works only in 4.4.0

The version I use is 4.3.57.9.
But the version you mean is not stable, is it?

Yes, 4.4.0 is not stable, it's beta. When 4.4.x will be stable this can be work on your server.
Now you can configure Apache manually for add your SSL-cerificate to all subdomains.

I still face an issue when trying to use a wildcard ssl certificate. The version of ispmanager I am using now is 4.4.10.17.
I can not select an ssl certificate in the www domain section.
I can only create a new one with the same certificate files like the one that already exists, but if I try to activate SSL for the new Domain it does not work. ("Unable to sign the certificate") I am only able to create a new self signed by enabling SSL for the new domain.

Please show ISPmanager's log when you try to activate the SSL certificate
