Squirrelmail error with apache-itk
 

when apache is installed with mpm-itk, in squirrelmail:

Error opening ../config/default_pref
Could not create initial preference file!
/var/lib/squirrelmail/data/ should be writable by user ialla
Please contact your system administrator and report this error.

when ich change /var/lib/squirrelmail/data/ to 777everything works,
but it causes securtyproblems?!

Much better to use
