I wan?t to know : can you compile your soft (ispmgr) on gentoo twice!?

Can you tell us the correct ebuilds you?re using for your system on gentoo

so on

Igor 09-20-2004 06:07 AM

all binares compiled with Fedora. and works.
explain please why you need compiled it with Gentoo.
have you any problem?

xexplorer 09-21-2004 05:17 PM

I don?t know your flags on fedora.

So I prefered to Compile on my machine, or on the same.

we would optimize for P4 or higher CPU?s only.

that?s what i wan?t, that the soft is optimised for P4 or higher CPU?s

do you have a 64 bit version ?

Can you post your Configs for all the Soft you prefered, not only yours ispmgr_config

greetz x

xexplorer 09-22-2004 04:45 PM

Hello again!

Do you have any other gentoo developers/testers?

We're (me and my co-workers) currently trying to make a ebuild (that's what gentoo's package management tools use) for ispmanager. It would be good to communicate with other gentoo developers (if any).

Also, is there a developers forum, or a mailing list?

Do you use irc?

It would be good to see, what the plans are for ispmanager. (For example, we would like to use postfix instead of sendmail on gentoo, lot's of other things also...)

We don't use IRC. Use "Feedback" topic of this forum to talk with developers. All your comments and wishes are welcome there.

I've sent a first version of a gentoo ebuild via your support interface.

The first thing I needed to do when installing Gentoo was to prepare the network connection. It just so happens that I am too lazy to find an ethernet cord and there wasn
