right cname syntax

i've add a cname yesterday in DNS management from ISPmanager

name
mailings

typ
CNAME (Kanonischer Name)

adres
crm000.cleverreach.de

but after 40Hours i can not ping "mailings.domain.de"

is "mailings" the right syntax for name?
nowhere in FAQ's i find a screenshot or anything else with right credentials for DNS

it would be fine IPSmanager checks directly the right syntax and warn when the user types in records with wrong syntax

maybe you forget enter dot (.) after crm000.cleverreach.de? Or DNS cache is not updated or domain delegated into other nameservers, not ISPmanager.
Also restart named BIND and check server logs.

you are right, i've forget the dot.

i think i am not the first and not the last person who forget it. because this, it would be fine if ispmanager checks the right syntax if dns entrys entered.
