Default Automatic snapshots for virtual machines

I already know that VMmanager has backup functions, but they are available only for administrator.
The list of virtual machines has "Snapshots". Is it possible to allow automatic snapshots for virtual servers?

The purpose of snapshots is to save some "initial" consistent state of VM.
Automatic snapshots ruled by users for many of VMs will be a headache for administrator.
For example, every new LVM snapshot adds a 100% to the original size of VM disk.
Meanwile, if a storage is damaged, the snapshot dies together with original disk. No profit.
