Temporary domain acess
Hi, for example when a client upload their Webiste content to a server with ISPmanager, but didn't yet change the DNS, how can the client see is new temporary site ?
Is there a temporary URL that the client can access ? After searching the following documentation (http://en.ispdoc.com/index.php/Confi...8ISPmanager%29), it ocurred to me that I can create a file named: virtualhost.templ with serverAlias 234234domain.service-service.domain.com. (service-domain, can be for example a domain that has already the DNS pointing to ispmanager). But the problem is that there is automatically created a serverAlias with www, if a create this template, it will ignore the ohter serveralias created by ispmanager? It is possible to append this to the already existing serverAlias with a template ? Also it is possible to create a variable, like, 242423 is created by the user, and ISPMANAGER automatically append .service-domain.com to the end ? so it automatically create a temporary URL that the client can test the code ? Thank you |

As one of the options you can on the "foreign" names servers create a wildcard-domain with an entry *. example.com to point to the IP-address of the server.
Customers may get a temporary address would be to add in the field Alias(es) in a WWW domain properties of the WWW domain any name in the .example.com zone and the site will be available on this domain name. |
