ISPmanager: I would like to have the possibility to change the owner of a WWW-domain (like in many other control panel software).
Maybe he was talking about the same: http://forum.ispsystem.com/en/showthread.php?t=174 Thank you. Last edited by Mkom; 10-29-2008 at 12:37 AM. |

it is a very complicated procedure. great amount of change required in the directories as well as the modification of configuration files.
it's much easier to create new www-domain |

This is really strange. What is the advantage of your system over others who don't include the user name in the DocumentRoot and use standard DocumentRoot like "htdocs" or "public_html"? And for security reasons an apache manual recommends not to have the directory "cgi-bin" located in the public directory (DocumentRoot) but you do. Isn't it a security risk? no it’s got nothing to do with security risks
public_html is created as a symbolic link to the first web-domain |
