Billing cycles

Hello,

I'm not really sure I understand what does the calendar billing cycle means.

Let's say my client orders one-month VPS on July the 10th (so he can use it till August the 9th). In the beginning of every month the system withdraw hosting expences from the client's account.

So my question is if the BILLmanager understands that the VPS should be active till August the 9th?

Hi,

Calendar billing cycle means that expense is created till the end of a month. A service is active till the end of a month.

There is special settings for calendar billing cycle in module Global settings -> Settings -> Date for the calendar billing type.

For example, "Date for the calendar billing type" = 16.
In this case, if customer order a service on the 14 of March then service will be active till the end of March.
If if customer order a service on the 20 of March then service will be active till the end of April.
