hi,

i have to migrate some users from a plesk server to ISPmanager.
with plesk i have made a backup, and copy this backup to the ISPmanager server.
Then i choose user import (local archive plesk) an become errors.

i think this plesk backupfile is wrong file for import?
what i have to do with plesk to make a file that i can import in ispmanager?

i had try to find a guide, but have not found.

Migration tool uses file's extension to determine the archiver it has to use to unpack file. So far Plesk generate files without extention the tool is unable to do the trick to raise an exception. According to the link you provided Plesk uses 'tar' archiver, so try to add '.tar' extension. I hope it will work this time. We will fix this issue in the tool in the next release.

/bin/tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now
/bin/cat: write error: Broken pipe

Apr 29 10:58:59 Import ERROR (global block): Failed to find a xml file in temp directory

tested with: ISPmanager-Lite 4.3.54.2 in debian5

What version of Plesk do you create a archive in? What steps do you do to create a backup?

i make a backup, with the normal "plesk backup" functiob in plesk.
and then "ftp repository" and upload it to the ISPmanager server. and on this server, i try to import.

Having the same issue. Client has Plesk 8.6 and import fails. Could you outline the solution on how you solved the problem?

Thanks,
Manu
